Incoming Caller ID
Incoming Caller ID is included in your 10-21 Police Phone Professional subscription.
If a citizen’s caller ID is available, it will show up in your Call History to help you identify who you need to call back and when you previously called them.
Made a test call and don't see it?
Check with your carrier or provider about your Caller ID. Not everyone has their Caller ID information set up, which is more likely when it comes to cellular plans.
Outbound Caller ID
Outbound Caller ID is included in your 10-21 Police Phone Professional subscription. When placing an outbound call to a citizen, 10-21 will send "LAW ENFORCEMENT" as the caller ID to help improve answer rates.
Made a test call and don't see it?
Seeing the caller's name when you RECEIVE a call as a citizen is a paid feature for most major carriers. If the citizen (or the test phone that you called) does not have this feature enabled on their carrier, they will just see the 10-21 phone number without the LAW ENFORCEMENT name.
Don't worry though, we'll still send a Follow Up via text message to let them know a law enforcement officer called them. Here are some helpful links for citizens that explain enabling Caller ID.

You can call from citizen's area code which is selected by default and the only available option for starter users. This type of call will show up on their Caller ID as a local number.
Additionally, if you're a Professional or Standard 10-21 Police Phone user, you can call from my area code which can be altered in the Profile section of your 10-21 settings. This type of call will show up on their Caller ID as a number from your entered area code.
